Unsettled

Last night (Friday), we found out through a cowardly email (sent late on a Friday night after the offices had closed) that our agency had been denied their renewal of their Hague accreditation. When we read the e-mail, I got butterflies in my stomach. We are not panicked yet, but we don't know what the future holds for our adoption at this point. We were already told that we would be waiting three years, but now the wait could be extended.

Please keep all the CHI families in prayer as we seek God's peace and understanding about the situation over a very long weekend. We don't have answers right now as our agency won't reopen until Monday.
