The only thing that threw a wrench in our day yesterday was the Mazda 5. Have you seen this thing? I want to scream at the marketing people for it because they could be making a fortune on this vehicle. It is the minivan for families that don't want the size of a minivan. When I test drove it, it felt like a car. It had three rows, but the thing we couldn't get past was the lack of storage space. All the parents whom we talked to told us we would need more room and to get the vehicle with the most room possible.

After a lot of deliberation, we finally decided on the 2011 Honda Odyssey. This thing is amazing. It drove smoothly, brakes on the spot, has a ton of space, has a rear entertainment center, leather seats, and has so many cool gadgets on it. It even has a built-in mini cooler! All those days of ice cream melting before I get home from the grocery store are over. I'm in love with this thing.
This morning, we went over and purchased the car from the dealership. Now we just have to wait for them to get it for us, so we will probably get it in our hands next week. I'm so excited!!!
So this week, we have managed to purchase the girls' room furniture, most of the bedding, got our immigration paperwork, and now bought the girls' a cool Hondassey (I've been told that's what the cool kids call the Honda Odyssey).
I'm going to go take a nap! Happy New Year!
