It's official. Yesterday, Colombia came back with our travel date, and it is exactly what we wanted. We travel February 5th and meet the girls on February 7th. I am just spinning with excitement right now!
We just booked our flights, and it feels REAL right now. We have a busy few weeks ahead of us. We have two showers, I have to prepare for a longterm substitute, we have Spanish to learn, we have Visa paperwork to complete, and we have adoption books to read. Oh yeah, and a bunch of other stuff, but it tires me to list all of it!
So the paperwork is done for tonight, the plane tickets are purchased. Therefore, we are sitting on the couch doing something we probably won't be able to do for awhile...watching TV!
All that matters right now is that it is truly official. We are traveling in three and a half weeks to meet our daughters. Amazing!
Felicidades! Ya casi llegan a sus hijas! Just trying to help with "learn Spanish" on your to do list...LOL! Amazing that in less than 1 month you will be with your daughters! Good luck on crossing off the "to-do" list. I remember after we received our referral I had to take Tylenol PM so I could get to bed. My head was spinning with excitement!

ReplyDeleteMy only advice is just savor EVERY minute your in Colombia just you and your babies. They grow so fast and its nice for a month just to hang out and have fun. Can't wait to follow your journey and see pics.
