Work Baby Shower!

A few weeks ago, one of the ladies at work came up to me and told me that several of the gals wanted to throw a shower at work for me.  Of course, because I seem to have the emotions of a pregnant woman (without the belly!), I instantly cried and thanked her a million times over.

Fast forward to today, the day of the shower, and I'm STILL crying!  I was overwhelmed with how many people came to the shower to celebrate the girls.  I was literally shaking with excitement over the event.  Their generosity and the love they showered over us was absolutely overwhelming, in the most amazing of ways. 

I have to admit that it was so exciting sharing the story of how we first heard about the girls with a brand new audience.  I always love sharing how God has led us through this entire process and paved the way for these girls to be a part of our family. 

Tim made a surprise appearance near the end of the shower and got to be a part of opening gifts.  His favorite, of course, was the tea set.  Hehe.  Although, I have to admit that my mental picture of Tim sitting at the toddler table having a tea party with the girls makes me grin and cry all at once!

I am so grateful for the entire group of gals that made today possible.  What a special group of ladies!  And thanks to all of the wonderful people who came to celebrate - we truly are blessed with so many people in our lives that love us and are excited for us.
