The Colombian Adoption Diet

Are you having trouble keeping your New Year's weight loss resolution? Want to lose weight quickly? Then we have a clinically proven plan for you to help melt off the pounds!

The Colombian Adoption Diet is a cutting-edge approach designed to help you lose your weight faster than ever. Here's how it works: you come to Colombia during the time of the year where the "feels like" temperature is 115 degrees each day. Then you adopt two kids and walk around in the heat all day. Before you know it, you will be accidentally skipping meals trying to get your new little ones to eat their food, or you will just not understand what something is one the menu because it's in Spanish, so you'll just get bread. Whatever you do actually consume will be poured out in sweat by the time you get back to your hotel room.

The Colombian Adoption Diet plan can be yours for just $19.99 (plus tax, shipping, plane flights, expensive 4-week hotel stay, $80 bill just to wash your clothes, and adoption fees). So what are you waiting for - act now!

  1. LOL!!!!! I lost 10 pounds when we were in Colombia. Not so much that I didn't like the food, but we didn't have anything to snack on in between meals and you are right you are sitting there trying to get the children to eat. Our 25 month old insisted on feeding herself everything and more ended up on the floor then in her stomach. Your post made me laugh so hard. Keep up the good work and those babies are just beautiful.

  2. So true. Brian had fried eggs for every meal for the entire 3 weeks we were in Monteria. You never saw a kid so excited to see a McDonalds when we arrived back in Bogota. Just wait until you try to get a jacket on your little ones for the first time. Angelica threw such a fit at the Bogota airport that airport security came over to check on us. The first few times at the park we thought it was very odd that this city had no children. A playground for who? Then a park policeman told us (very politely and in English) we were the only crazy ones to bring our kids out in the middle of the day. Crazy Gringos. Have fun. Enjoy!! Love your posts.

  3. Hmmm..maybe we should try putting on jackets before we get to the airport. I'm paranoid now! We already get enough stares as it is. Two white Americans who can't speak very good Spanish with Colombian kids. Getting used to it though. I'm making a habit of smiling at everyone who stares at me with a weird expression.

  4. Ha, ha, love it! I felt like I ate a lot in Colombia (but was sure I might never eat a hot meal again, trying to help two 2.5 year olds eat!). I think my weight loss just came from chasing the kids around and being so busy all the time!

Enjoy your time, your girls are gorgeous!

  5. I lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks! HAHA!

No kidding, I did - have gained it all back 2 years later though :/. We were in Bogota the whole time, so I may have lost 20 if we had gone somewhere warm.

Loved the post, enjoy this time. Believe it or not, you will miss Colombia after you come home :).
